What You Get with Each System Purchase

Every system sold by longtermtrading.com comes complete with the following items:

1) A Complete System Manual - This manual fully and completely describes the system and its trading rules. It also goes through the detailed calculations necessary to trade the system as well as discussing either TradeStation or the Windows software operation in detail. It also includes a complete track record of each of the 21 commodities in the standardized portfolio. We also include a summary track record of the entire portfolio as a group using both weekly.

2) System Program in TradeStation EasyLanguage or Windows-based, standalone software - Every system is provided with a software program that can be run either in TradeStation 4.0, 2000i, or SuperCharts or, if you do not own TradeStation, on a standalone basis with our own Windows based software. Every parameter in every system is fully accessible in either version so you may vary them as you see fit - although we strongly urge against the temptation. The TradeStation EasyLanguage version also comes with one or more indicators that overlay onto the TradeStation chart to visually highlight the important system parameters or the location of the trailing stop. To prevent unauthorized tampering and distribution, however, the TradeStation and Windows program code is password protected. Both versions allow complete backtesting and trade generation as well as providing the ability to seamlessly export all backtest results directly into our Portfolio Analysis and Money Management tools as described below.

3) 550 Years of Continuous Market Data covering the Entire 21-Commodity Standardized Portfolio - These are the exact same ASCII data files which were used to create the reported track record. We provide these to you to allow you to go through and methodically verify every single one of our reported results. Only in this manner will you develop the confidence to proceed through hard drawdowns in the future.

4) Fixed Ratio* and Fixed Fractional Portfolio Analysis and Money Management Excel Spreadsheet Templates - These spreadsheets allow you take trade-by-trade P&L data from TradeStation or our Windows-based software directly into the spreadsheets. With these powerful tools, you can automatically calculate the next number of contracts to trade in a portfolio based on your own trade profit and losses and the risk parameters you define. You can also easily create your own portfolios of different commodities and determine the effects of Fixed Fractional or Fixed Ratio* money management compounding on net profits and drawdown and other portfolio statistics using parameters specified by you. The spreadsheets also even print out a variety of charts including Cumulative Equity Curve, Annual P&L, Annual P&L Distribution, Drawdowns, and Drawdowns Depth and Length Distribution.
